I tried calling down to the front desk the next morning, but couldn't reach anyone then either. I tried to call down to the front desk, but it was close to midnight at that time and I was unable to reach anyone (even though there were plenty of employees at the front desk when I checked in). After checking in and unpacking I discovered the sink in the bathroom was clogged, had backed up previously and had not been fixed or cleaned. The room I had was clean enough and well decorated, but had it's issues. I stayed in the Casino Resort Tower, which is not the remolded tower. the overflow drain hole was as dirty as the toilet leaving me to conclude that it had NEVER been cleaned. The toilet seat was not attached firmly leaving one the opportunity for a lawsuit from falling off and wedging themselves between the wall and the bowl, which by the way, was filthy as could be clearly seen from the sink mirror. Yuk! The coffeemaker still had the used K cup in it from the previous guest which means that they didn't clean it. The sink/vanity mirror was splatted with makeup and toothbrush debris. The tub/shower didn't have a plug, so taking a relaxing soak was almost a 'no go' until I figured out that the bath mat would fit tightly enough around the drain to hold water for a about five minutes. I woke up more tired then I was upon arriving. It was 23 floors above the railroad yard and the sound of boxcars banging around all night kept me from falling into a deep sleep. There are only TWO things I expect from Hotels, Clean and Quiet. Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center.
